CAMEL CIGARETTES (Warning: The Surgeon General Has Determined That Cigarette Smoking Is Dangerous to Your Health.) Richard Joshua Reynolds, founder of the R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company in Winston, N.C., introduced Camel cigarettes to the American public in 1913. The camel symbol was chosen because the cigarette was made from Turkish tobaccos and, supposedly, had an "exotic" flavor. When "Old Joe," a camel traveling with the Barnum and Bailey circus, came to town, Reynolds dispatched an employee to get a picture of the dromedary for an advertising campaign. Old Joe refused to play "model," tossed his head and tail about, and made threatening advances on the cameraman. The resulting "indignant" snapshot has been reproduced on billions of packages of Camel cigarettes. The slogan for Camels supposedly came from conversation between a hobo and a sign painter employed by the Reynolds Company. After bumming a cigarette from the painter, the hobo spoke the well-known words, "I'd walk a mile for a Camel."

Hacking Wireless I: Membobol MAC Address Filtering

Membobol MAC Address Filtering:

1. Jalankan Live CD Distro Linux BackTrack2, masukkan username “root”, lalu masukkan password “toor”.

2. Setelah muncul prompt, ketikkan “startx”.

3. Setelah muncul desktop environment KDE, klik tombol “K” (di pojok kiri bawah). Pilih BackTrack  Radio Network Analysis -> 80211  Analyser  Kismet.

4. Lalu muncul window “Select Network Device”, pilih “wifi0”. Klik “OK”.

5. Muncul tampilan Kismet, secara otomatis Kismet akan mencari wireless client yang sedang aktif. Bila ditemukan wireless client yang aktif tetapi tidak terhubung dengan jaringan, maka akan muncul pesan “ALERT: Suspicious client 00:02:6F:37:08:20 - probing networks but never participating.”

6. Bila Kismet berhasil menemukan Access Point yang aktif, maka akan muncul pesan “Found IP 192.168.2.1 for slamet::00:0E:2E:C2:2C:0E via ARP”.

Keterangan:

slamet -> nama SSID

7. Tutup Kismet, lalu buka console untuk menjalankan tools scanning yang lain, yakni airodump.

Keterangan:

Bila kita menggunakan program scanning yang lain, biasanya program pertama akan membuat driver wireless kita “rusak”. Untuk dapat digunakan pada program yang kedua, kita perlu memperbaiki driver tersebut (dimatikan lalu dihidupkan kembali).

8. Cara memperbaiki driver, ketik:

   

#airmon-ng -> untuk mengecek interface yang tersedia.

Matikan driver “ath0” dan “ath1” dengan mengetik:

#airmon-ng stop ath0

#airmon-ng stop ath1 -> bila interface ath1 ada.

9. Mengaktifkan driver yang baru, ketik:

#airmon-ng start wifi0

10. Bila diketikkan perintah #iwconfig , maka muncul informasi “ath0” sudah aktif dengan Mode=Monitor.

11. Berikutnya, ketik #airodump-ng ath0

12. Dengan demikian maka kesimpulan bahwa dengan airodump mendapatkan hasil scanning MAC Address Client yang lebih cepat dibandingkan dengan menggunakan Kismet. Tetapi Client IP Address tidak bisa didapatkan, kecuali menggunakan Kismet.

13. Kita juga dapat menggunakan program K-MAC(atau anda bisa merubah MAC Address melalui regedit) yang di-install pada windows untuk merubah MAC-Address Wireless kita menjadi MAC-Address salah satu client yang terdaftar pada MAC Address Filtering.

14. Yang perlu dilakukan adalah mencari informasi MAC-Address client dengan mengunakan Kismet atau airodump, catat MAC-Address tersebut, lalu jalankan K-MAC di windows dan ubah MAC-Addressnya.

15. Setelah restart komputer/laptop anda, dan mulai berinternet gratis deh........

Hacking Wireless II : Melumpuhkan Client yang terhubung pada suatu AP

Melumpuhkan Client yang terhubung pada suatu AP:

1. Jalankan Live CD LinuxBackTrack 2.

2. Jalankan Kismet untuk mengetahui MAC-Address AP dan MAC-Address Client serta channel dari AP. Lalu catat semua infrmasi yang didapat.

3. Tutup Kismet, lalu buka console, ketikkan:

#airmon-ng stop ath0 -> untuk mematikan driver ath0

#airmon-ng stop ath1 -> untuk mematikan driver ath1

#airmon-ng start wifi0 -> menghidupkan/mengaktifkan driver

4. Jalankan scanning wireless menggunakan Airodump :

#airodump-ng ath0

5. Berikutnya buka konsole satu lag(dgn Airodump masih aktif jalan) lakukan setting ath0 untuk melakukan serangan (De Authentication) pada komputer client (target). Ketikkan:

#ifconfig ath0 up -> untuk mengaktifkan ath0

#iwconfig ath0 mode monitor channel 11 -> menentukan agar ath0 dalam mode monitor, sedangkan angka 11 merupakan channel yang dipakai oleh AP (didapatkan dari hasil scanning Kismet).

6. Langkah terakhir, kita lakukan serangan, ketikkan:

#aireplay-ng --deauth 20 -c 00:0E:2E:C1:1E:83 -a 00:0E:2E:C2:2C:0E ath0

Aireplay-ng -> program yang digunakan untuk melakukan de authentication

--deauth -> option untuk serangan de authentication

20 -> jumlah sending packet

00:0E:2E:C1:1E:83 -> MAC-Address komputer target

-a -> option untuk Access Point

Ingat artikel sebelumnya yaitu Bekerja atau Berbisnis ?, dimana kita membahas betapa tidak enaknya menggantungkan penghasilan melalui gaji. Kenapa blog disebut passive income ? karena blog akan tersedia selama 24 jam. Berarti uang bisa mengalir ke kantong melalui blog kapanpun, sedang apapun, dan dimanapun kita berada.

Jadi kita tidak perlu nongkrongin blog terus menerus, kita cuma perlu bekerja beberapa jam sehari untuk melakukan hal-hal yang diperlukan, dan selanjutnya kita bisa mengerjakan hal lainnya. Uang akan mengalir selama 24 jam, benar-benar sebuah ide yang cemerlang untuk menghasilkan uang. Tidak mengherankan jika sekarang ini semua orang berlomba-lomba untuk mempelajari bagaiman cara menghasilkan uang dari internet, jadi sangat rugi jika kita tidak ikut-ikutan mencari uang melalui internet.

Banyak cara dan pilihan untuk mencari uang di internet, salah program yang sangat populer saat ini adalah Google Adsense. Tapi bukankah banyak cara lain untuk mencari uang melalui internet, mengapa adsense ? bukankah ada program-program lain yang bisa kita ikuti untuk mencari uang di internet ? seperti Program Affiliasi misalnya, atau membuat ebook, atau ikut join di program MLM, Pay Per Post, melakukan Investasi, ikut program Pay for Online, dan lain-lain.

Kelebihan Adsense

• AdSense relatif mudah untuk diikuti.
• Adsense mudah ditempatkan, kita cukup dengan copy-paste kode yang diberikan oleh pihak adsense.
• Gratis alias tidak perlu membayar biaya apapun.
• Tidak perlu repot mencari-cari pihak yang berminat memasang iklan di blog atau website kita.
• Kita cuma perlu membuat tulisan yang bagus, agar adsense bisa mencari iklan yang paling berhubungan dengan isi tulisan.
• Tidak perlu repot untuk mencari iklan atau produk yang cocok untuk tiap halaman yang kita buat.
• Tidak perlu dipusingkan dengan berbagai cara menempatkan kode dari berbagai program affiliasi yang kita ikuti (jika cuma mengikutii program adsense).
• Kita jadi bisa memfokuskan diri bagaimana cara membuat content yang bagus, dan adsense yang akan mencarikan iklan yang paling cocok di antara lebih kurang 100.000 pemasang iklan melalui program Google Adword.
• Bisa diikuti mulai dari pemula hingga yang veteran.
• AdSense menyediakan statistik yang relatif sederhana dan mudah dimengerti.
• Sekalipun kita mengikuti program affiliasi lain, Adsense tetap mengizinkan kita untuk menempatkan link dari program affiliasi tersebut, hanya saja kita perlu memperhatikan syarat-syarat yang diberikan oleh Adsense agar tidak melanggar TOS.
• Kita juga bisa memfilter atau memblock lebih dari 200 URLs dari adsense, jika iklan yang akan ditampilkan dari adsense tersebut mempunyai produk yang sama dengan produk yang kita tawarkan melalui program affiliasi lain. Ini untuk memberikan kesempatan yang lebih besar bagi program affiliasi lain yang kita ikuti.
• Google Adsense merupakan program periklanan yang kompetitif, hingga adsense banyak diminati oleh para advertiser untuk memasarkan dan memperkenalkan produk mereka.
• Hanya dengan satu account, kita bisa menempatkan adsense pada beberapa blog sekaligus. Jadi tidak perlu membuat satu account untuk tiap blog yang dimiliki.
• Banyak sumber-sumber yang bisa dijadikan bahan untuk mempelajarinya, sekalipun kita masih awam kita bisa belajar dari para veteran yang sudah lebih dulu terjun dalam dunia adsense.

Kekurangan Adsense

Seperti juga berbagai program lainnya, adsense tentu mempunyai beberapa kelemahan dan kekurangan yang cukup mengganggu. Beberapa kekurangan ini antara lain:

• Statistik income yang diberikan oleh Adsense memang cukup simple dan mudah dipahami, akan tetapi adsense tidak menampilkan iklan mana yang sering diklik dan keyword apa yang berhubungan dengan iklan tersebut. Hal ini cukup membuat frustasi, karena informasi tersebut sangat penting.
• Masih berhubungan dengan point diatas, khan jika kita tahu iklan dan keyword apa yang sering diklik, kita bisa membuang keyword yang tidak banyak menghasilkan duit.
• Adsense sering menampilkan PSA (Public Service Ads) atau iklan layanan masyarakat, dan jika ini diklik, kita dapet apa coba.
• Minimum payout is $100, berat juga tuh, terutama bagi blog yang tidak banyak mendapat traffic. Bisa butuh waktu lama tuh untuk mencairkannya.
• Sebelum blog atau website bisa disetujui untuk join adsense, blog tersebut harus di review atau di periksa dulu dulu. Dan yang melakukan pengecekkan adalah seorang manusia biasa, kalau manusianya kan cenderung ...???
• Adsense melarang kita untuk berbagi atau memberi tahukan orang lain mengenai pendapatan kita melalui adsense, begini bunyi AdSense Terms dan Conditions: "Confidentiality. You agree not to disclose Google Confidential Infataumation without Google's priatau written consent. 'Google Confidential Infataumation' includes without limitation: ... (b) click-through rates atau other statistics relating to Site perfataumance in the Program provided to you by Google..." itukan agak aneh. Sebagai sesama blogger kita perlu informasi semacam ini untuk berbagi keberhasilan dan kegagalan yang pernah dialami.
• Sebagai partner, adsense juga tidak memberi tahukan berapa persen yang kita dapatkan dari total penghasilan mereka. Kata Google sih gini: "How much will I earn through this program? The AdWatauds ads you are able to display on your content pages are cost-per-click (CPC) ads. This means that advertisers pay only when users click on ads. You'll receive a pataution of the amount paid fatau clicks on AdWatauds ads on your website. Although we don't disclose the exact revenue share, our goal is to enable publishers to make as much atau mataue than they could with other advertising netwatauks."
• Adsense rawan klik fraud, ini bisa jadi resiko yang besar bagi kita. Terutama bila ada pihak-pihak lain yang merasa tidak senang melihat orang lain suksess, dan pihak tersebutlah yang melakukan klik fraud. Tapi pihak Google mungkin beranggapan bahwa kita berkerja sama dengan pihak yang melakukan klik fraud tersebut. Dan akhirnya account kita kena banned, ludes dah penghasilan. Apalagi jika penghasilan tersebut sudah lumayan buanyak, apes dah.
• Adsense belum mendukung semua bahasa, terutama bahasa Indonesia. Jadi khan kacian bagi blogger yang belum fasih berbahasa Inggris. Mereka dengan amat sangat terpaksa harus belajar bahasa Inggris, itu jika mereka masih minat dengan adsense.

Menurutku itulah beberapa kelebihan dan kekurangan adsense, jika kamu mempunyai pendapat sendiri, sudilah untuk membaginya disini.

Berapa yang bisa di hasilkan

Dengan beberapa kekurangan dan kelebihan yang ada, adsense tetap menjadi primadona bagi kita untuk menghasilkan passive income. Sebenarnya berapa yang bisa kita dapatkan dari adsense ? itu tergantung dari barapa harga dibayarkan oleh pemasang iklan tersebut melalui program Google Adword. Ada yang cuma 5 cent perklik, tapi ada yang mencapai $10 hingga $12 perklik, dan kita mendapat beberapa persen dari harga tersebut.

Sebelum kita memutuskan dan berangan-angan, berapa banyak uang yang ingin kita hasilkan dari adsense, akan lebih baik jika kita tahu bagaimana cara melakukannya. Misalnya kita mempunyai target income $100.000 pertahun dari adsense, apakah itu memungkinkan ? coba kita hitung $100.000 dibagi 365 hari = $274 perhari. Itu berarti kita harus membuat 274 halaman, dan setiap halaman menghasilkan $1. Atau 548 halaman dan setiap halaman menghasilkan 5 cent. Atau 1096 halaman dan setiap halaman menghasilkan 25 cent.

Hipotesanya mungkin begini, untuk menghasilkan $1 perhalaman setiap harinya, berarti setiap halaman perlu:

1. 400 pengunjung, 5% click-through rate (CTR) dan rata-rata 5 cent payout.
2. Atau 200 pengunjung, 10% CTR dan rata-rata 5 cent payout.
3. Atau 100 pengunjung, 10% CTR, dan rata-rata 10 cent payout.
4. Atau 100 pengunjung, 5% CTR, dan rata-rata 20 cent payout.
5. Atau 50 pengunjung, 10% CTR dan 20 cent payout rata-rata .
6. Atau 25 pengunjung, 20% CTR dan 20 cent payout rata-rata.
7. Atau 20 pengunjung, 10% CTR dan 50 cent payout rata-rata.
8. Atau 10 pengunjung, 20% CTR dan 50 cent payout rata-rata.
9. Atau 5 pengunjung, 20% CTR dan $1 payout rata-rata.

Mohon dikoreksi bila hitungannya salah. Coba kita ambil tengahnya saja, anggaplah kita menginginkan 50 pengunjung perhalaman. Kita punya 274 halaman, dan untuk setiap halaman kita ingin menghasilkan $1 perhari. Berarti yang kita butuhkan adalah 274 x 50 = 13.700 pageview perhari. Hm.. tampaknya terlalu berat ya. Berarti yang harus kita lakukan adalah mencari keyword yang bernilai tinggi, dan mencari cara untuk meningkatkan CTR.

Kita coba dengan skenario yang berbeda, anggaplah kita menemukan keyword yang bisa menghasilkan $1 perhari dari setiap 10 pengunjung. Itu berarti: dengan 274 halaman X 10 pengunjung = 2740 pageview perhari. Jika dari 10 pengunjung membaca rata-rata 3 halaman, berarti yang kita butuhkan adalah 913 unique pengunjung perhari. Ini juga tampaknya masih cukup berat, maka yang mungkin bisa kita lakukan adalah membaginya menjadi 2 atau 3, 4, dan seterusnya. Caranya ? dengan membuat blog-blog lain sebanyak angka pembagi yang kita inginkan.

Ternyata tidak semudah yang kita impikan untuk mencari uang melalui adsense, tapi adakah cara yang mudah ? tidak ada. Semua cara membutuhkan kerja keras dan perjuangan yang tak kenal lelah. Karena itu kita perlu belajar sungguh-sungguh dan lebih dalam lagi jika ingin meningkatkan pendapatan melalui adsense, kita akan membahasnya pada artikel-artikel mendatang. Tingkatkan Dollar Adsense Anda dengan High Paying Keywords

Bagi anda para pemula di adsense, jika telah mengikuti langkah-langkah yang disebutkan dalam tiga artikel saya sebelumnya (adsense, niche, dan adwords), berarti sekarang anda sudah punya sebuah web atau blog yang sudah ditempelin iklan adsense. Ibarat jualan toko sudah jadi, sekarang tinggal mencari pembeli, atau traffic situs anda. Ada banyak cara untuk meningkatkan traffic, seperti dari search engine, forum, komunitas, mailing list, ezine publishing, pay per click advertising dan lain-lain. Namun sebelum mempromosikan situs anda, ada baiknya dilihat lagi tema atau niche situs anda, apakah kata kunci di situs termasuk kata kunci yang dibayar tinggi atau high paying keywords (HPK) atau tidak, agar aktivitas promosi anda tidak sia-sia dan bisa menghasilkan income yang berarti.

Catatan : Tulisan ini dalam konteks jika tipe situs anda adalah tipe marketer yang menyediakan informasi yang dibutuhkan sesuai dengan tuntutan market, bukan berdasarkan pada hobi atau keahlian anda.

High Paying Keywords (HPK) adalah kata-kata kunci yang mempunyai nilai pay per click (PPC) yang tinggi, tentu setiap adsenser ingin iklan yang muncul di situsnya mempunyai nilai PPC yang tinggi, bagaimana cara agar iklan HPK ini muncul, ya tentu saja dengan membuat situs dengan tema / niche High Paying Keyword. Berapa sih nilai keyword yang bisa disebut HPK? Itu sih relative, tapi menurut saya keyword dengan nilai PPC lebih besar dari 10 dolar per klik sudah termasuk HPK.

Untuk ilustrasi lebih jauh, contohnya sebagai berikut : Misalkan anda mempunyai dua buah situs, misalkan situs pertama dengan topic A yang mempunyai nilai PPC rata-rata 1 dolar per klik, sedangkan situs kedua dengan topic B mempunyai nilai PPC yang termasuk HPK dengan nilai 12 dolar per klik. Untuk mempromosikan situs , usaha yang anda keluarkan sama (kalaupun beda pasti tidak terlalu jauh), dan diakhir bulan hasil klik yang anda dapatkan kutang lebih sama, misalkan 100 klik untuk kedua situs. Berapa pendapatan masing-masing situs ? situs pertama dengan topic A dapat 1 dolar dikali 100, sama dengan 100 dolar, situs kedua dengan topic B yang bernilai HPK dapat 12 dolar kali 100, sama dengan 1200 dolar, jauh sekali kan bedanya?. Bisa diibaratkan seperti manajer di Indonesia dan Amerika yang bekerja di sebuah perusahaan sama, mempunyai posisi dan pekerjaan yang sama, kemampuan sama, tapi gajinya beda, karena yang di Amerika mempunyai nilai High Paying Keywords J….

Pertanyaan selanjutnya, bagaimana menemukan high paying keywords? Ini memang susah-susah gampang, untuk mengetahuinya anda perlu melakukan trial di Google Adwords ( lihat artikel adwords sebelumnya untuk mengetahui cara membuat account), masukkan satu keyword dan cek berapa PPC-nya., dari pengalaman, kata-kata yang termasuk HPK adalah keyword di bidang keuangan seperti insurance, loan dan frasa-frasanya ( auto insurance, home loan, etc, silahkan dikembangkan lagi dengan tools di adwords), atau yang berhubungan dengan internet sendiri, seperti domain name, server hosting, pay per click, search engine marketing dan sejenisnya.

OK, sekarang jika anda sudah menemukan keyword yang bernilai HPK, sebelum mengimplementasikannya, ada satu test atau pengecekan lagi yang perlu dilakukan, yaitu apakah iklan yang ditampilkan relevan dengan HPK yang anda bidik?. Ini sanagt perlu, karena meskipun situs anda mempunyatema yang sesuai dengan HPK, tetapi iklan yang kelaur tidak relevan dengan HPK, ya sama saja sia-sia. Sebagai contoh coba bandingkan dua website berikut http://ppcsem.blogspot.com/ dan http://insurance-guide.blogspot.com/ . Kedua situs tersebut mempunyai High Paying Keywords, yang pertama situs dengan topic pay per click dan search engine marketing, yang kedua tentang insurance. Coba perhatikan iklan yang keluar dari situs diatas. Yang pertama , iklan Ads by Google yang ditampilkan sejalan atau relevan dengan isi website , artinya isi situs berhasil mencapai target, sedangkan yang kedua kurang sejalan atau ada yang tidak relevan, , padahal umur situs http://ppcsem.blogspot.com/ lebih pendek dari http://insurance-guide.blogspot.com/ ,dan artikelnya lebih sedikit, kenapa situs yang kedua tidak menghasilkan iklan yang relevan? Karena keywords insurance meskipun termasuk HPK, dia tidak bernilai global, maksudnya para pengiklan insurance hanya mau iklannya muncul di Negara tertentu saja, misalkan amerika atau eropa, tidak di seluruh dunia, karena kebutuhan untuk produk insurance belum merata secara global. Sedangkan untuk keyword pay per click, merupakan HPK yang bernilai global, dan targetnya bisa berlaku di seluruh dunia.

Jadi, kesimpulannya, jika situs anda bertipe marketer penyedia informasi, pilihlah topic yang mempunyai High Paying Keyword, setelah mendapatkan HPK, lakukan tes dan seleksi, pilih HPK yang bernilai global, sehingga iklan yang keluar di situs anda juga bernilai tinggi.

Program bisnis di internet memang banyak macamnya sekarang ini, dan yang paling banyak saat ini diminati oleh para pebisnis internet adalah program google adsense, adbrite , text-Link-Ads, Chitika, Blogads, AuctionAds. TIDAK HARUS IDE YANG TERAMAT BAGUS UNTUK BERHASIL

Thomas Alfa Edison berkata JENIUS ADALAH 1% INSPIRASI DAN 99% KERINGAT. TIDAK ADA YANG MENGGANTIKAN KERJA KERAS. KEMUJURAN ADALAH KONDISI SAAT KESEMPATAN BERTEMU DENGAN KESIAPAN.

Saya secara pribadi pernah mengalami hal ini. Ceritanya begini:
Sekitar tahun 2005 ceritanya booming berita pemakaian formalin (padahal sebenarnya dari tahun 90-an saja sebenarnya informasi pemakaian zat ini sudah dipulikasikan oleh beberapa lembaga riset). Pada kenyataanya, sampai November 2005 (dimana Desember 2005 semua laporan penelitian harus selesai), penelitian belum kelar atau jadi, testkit yang dijanjikan belum juga dpat dipastikan.
November pun saya dipanggil IBU, diminta secara pribadi untuk merampungkan penelitian itu, kalau bisa Desember selesai (saya pikir, GILA... sekali dikasih tanggung jawab langsung harus cepat).
Karena tanggung jawab ini, saya coba untuk searching informasi (sampai ke laporan-laporan paten segala). Saya jadi kaget, IDE TEST KIT ITU TERNYATA MERUPAKAN LAPORAN PENELITIAN YANG ADA DI TAHUN 1960-AN. sEbenarnya juga sederhan dan mudah dibuat, ASAL BEBERAPA KARAKTER BAHAN DIKETAHUI. Akhirnya desember sebenarnya riset tersebut dapat kelar (KARENA SEBENARNYA MUDAH), tapi IBU minta uji kestabilannya sebelum produk dilempar ke pasar.
AKHIRNYA DARI IDE TAHUN 60-AN, TOH TEST KIT ITU SEKARANG DIJUAL KE BANYAK ORANG dan MENDAPAT BANYAK PUJIAN DARI ORANG. Saya sendiri heran, kalau saja mereka tahu yang sebenarnya ITU CUMA SEKEDAR IDE KECIL (1% INSPIRASI) DAN SISANYA TINGGAL KREATIFITAS DAN KERJA KERAS (99%) YANG AKAN MENENTUKAN.
